Hi. Long time reader, first time poster. I found this in a fitness forum. A guy, 22, wants to have sex with a girl who's 16. I'm the dad of a 1 year old daughter. I am worried about her enough as it is, but I cant think of how much I'd worry about this if this was my daughter. I'm angry about this guy doing this, am I right to be angry? What would you do if your daughter was in this situation? Its only 6 years. My grandfather is 12 years older then my grandmother. I dont see whats wrong. *waits for Chris Hansen to pop out* eric
Legal Age is legal age. So, I don't see anything wrong with it. And..you as a father, will eventually have to come to the realization that your daughter will grow up, she will like boys(or girls you never know), and she will have sex.
16 and 22 is A LOT different than lets say 40 and 46 16 and 22 is bad but it could be a lot worse. i hear about 20+ dudes dating 13/14/15 yr olds which makes me sick to my stomach
well i find this wrong just because i was putting it in diffrent age perspectives. Thats like a 16 year old fucking a 10 year old.... i think thats odd.and gross but then again my parents are 13 years apart so go figure.
I think its wrong, there is a whole lot of maturing that girl will go through before she reaches 22. Not to mention the aspect of a 22 y/o being able to influence her. I know- anyone of any age can influence her, but come on this is different and we all know that.
I dont know man, I think its a little wrong for older men to sleep with younger women, like that. I mean its one thing to be 22, and nailing and 18 year old, but 16? thatsjust a little wrong to me. Just me though, 16 year old adolecents dont do a thing for me
I would look down upon that, maybe not to the point of being pissed off, but to the point of thinking the guy is a scumbag. I mean most girls are going to be sexually active by 16 anyway, but it completely depends on the circumstances.

I've been there ( as the chick) and I can look back now and say that was not the smartest decision I made, but it was a learning experience nonetheless. I was considered mature for my age, but as far as the guy went , it just seems kind of shady. But hey its legal over there, just hope he uses a condom or bleach or jumping up and down or something. (I was kididng about the last two)

I would have to meet the people to give a real opinion on the matter. Age really is just a number to me, my husband is 8 and a half years older than I am and age has never been an issue for us. There are some girls who would be mature enough at 16 to date a 22 year old. I know it's an obviously rare scenario, but it is possible. Granted, it's also very possible these days that a 22 year old guy could have the mental maturity of a 16 year old. Meh, either way, I can't form an opinion on the matter based on age alone. Age isn't a good enough indicator of anything for me.
^^^ ill subscribe to that notion. im 22 myself and alltho i think having a 16 yr old girl friend may me a bit much for me i do think that i could be persuaded to look alittle past age so long as she is mentaly and emotionally at my level. now i aint sayin im gonna go stalk the damn highschool tomorrow but i understand junkies point.

The 16 year olds around here look 22 its not hard to tell if they are 16 but damn does it make you double take. I'm 22 I wouldn't date a 16 year old personally but they ain't bad to look at some times If someone wants to date someone regardless of age then so be it, even if it was illegal who are we to judge someone on that? I'm sitting here at 8:30 with 1 Illegal Substance in me and 4 different illegal things to smoke it out of infront of me. In the end we are just doing something we see as right that others don't.
Yup, depends on maturity, but even so its not a horrible scenario. My mate who is nearly 18 dates a 13 year old. In that case, id say fuck maturity, coz at 13, they look like girls not developed woman
with the argument prsented that we dont really know this dude or girl... this dude is just goin around the mall trying to get some from every girl he sees, and while this girl is young, she knows what he is gettin at and furthermore playin along with him so we can conclude that he just wants to get laid, and at 16 the girl is prolly old enough to decide whether or not she wants to sleep with this dude or not i dont think most 16 yr olds could have a relationship with a 22 yr old, but they are both mature(ing) ppl and can decide whether or not they wanna hookup and never see each other again if thats the type of girl she is, it doesnt much matter to me whether the dude is a guy from school or random 20 somn yr old guy from the mall
