Do these plants look short I am using a 600 metal halide I raised it up hoping they would stretch but the nodes are still real tight? Should I change over to HPS already? Or do these look normal? I usually grow clones and have no problem
MH has a lot of blue in it's spectrum, which generally decreases internode spacing. Switching to HPS should help some.
Sense your only 19 days into your grow you should go ahead and start a grow journal on it. That way every grow you do you can go back and see what worked for you and do different grows, even try some auto's and see how they perform for you. It also helps when you give advice to someone they can look at your journal and your grows that you have done. If you're plants are doing good they should be double the size they are now next week.
cool white light ie in the 6500 lumen range stimulates the auxins/ hormones to make a short squat plant \as is the opposite with light from a hps warm white in the 2700 Lu range, before my new leds I used conversion bulbs on my hps for the same effect flip to hps now to get a normal plant later good luck
