2012 Election

  1. Is it really going to matter who wins the presidency? There's so much going on in the world that I don't think it matters what the President's agenda is. He's going to have to deal with everything that gets passed on to him (I'll say him and he cuz I don't think Palin stands a chance) and he has no time/money to do what he wants to do.

With that being said, it seems like, anymore, that Congress has all of the power. I don't think there is a lot left of "checks and balances".

  2. ^lol. The president has never mattered, he's just the puppet that keeps the public happy. But yes I agree the economy and all the other issues in america are far beyond repair. Even if they tried they couldn't undo the decade of fucking up. And yea checks and balances in the 21st century are basically nonexistant, congress has last word. The constitution is used as toilet paper up on ole capitol hill.
