sup everyone, this is my first post on hear with hopfully many more to come if all goes right. thats why i need some opinon on my grow. ok so im growing on a mountian near my house. my plot will be at the top of the south side of the mountin. the plants will get at least 10-12 hours of direct sunlight and theres a natural spring like 50 yards away. so theres my water supply. i got about 25 seeds, all bag seed. id love to start them indoors but thats not an option. so i will start them in late april or early may in dixi cups. i have good potting soil for the cups. but when i transplant them to the ground i have to use the native soil, wich is pretty good itself. i plan on digging holes 1ft wide by 2 ft deep just to loosin up the soil then just dump it right back in. thats all i really got for a plan. im hoping to get at least a pound off this grow. grow season aprox. 6 months may-oct Qs, #1. what are some good nute's i can buy for veg/flower. #2. any suggestions for sucurity for animals/people. #3. any guesses on the harvest weight per plant min/max any other suggestions or tips wouls be great. i will probably start a grow journal once things get under way. wish me luck. thanks everyone
If you are going to grow in the natural soil, I recommend incorporating dry/granular fertilizer rather than add nutrients when you water. You can use a balanced fert. like 10-10-10 or organics...I use Espoma Plant-Tone. After a few months, top dress with a dose of fertilizer w/ higher Phosphorous 10-20-10 or something like that...I use Espoma Tomato-Tone. Garden Article: Understanding Fertilizer Numbers: N-P-K
