200W SolarFlare multi strain cabinet! (PK, Blue Dream, Fruit Auto and Bubba 76)

I just got my SolarFlare from California lightworks!!!

as soon as I took it out of the box I could see that it is really well made with a very thick heat sink for heat dissipation and it is super quiet, I can't really tell if it's on or off with the door closed on my cabinet.

The light is super bright and covers my 2x2 area quite easily!

after a day of running my temps are a constant 75*f so about 10* cooler than when I was using my CFL lights and my bedroom temp stays the same instead of rising about 5* during the day.

So this light is a lot cooler


In the flowering area I have my Bagseed Purple Kush which will be done in about 2-3 weeks. I have my Blue Dream clone that is about 2 weeks in 12/12. And I have my little Dinafem Fruit Auto which is about 1 week from seed and 1st day under my LED in the 12/12 section.

In the Veg area, I have my othe Blue Dream clone in the screen. Another Blue dream seedling and a Bubba 76 seedling from Emerald Triangle.


This light is so beautiful, I could stare at my plants forever!!

Unfortunately the mother of this clone turned out to be a male (WTF?!?!) but this one seems to be a female, I`m keeping a close eye on her

 

Anyone has grown HSO's Blue Dream before? I'm having trouble with mine... don't know if I got a bad seed or what....

My older leaves are yellowing starting from the tip and brown spots are appearing. I did a flush about a week or two ago because I thought I had a PH or Over Nute problem. It got a bit better but then came back to worse, I gave it a feed/water last night with 1/4 strength last night. How long is it for a plant to bounce back? or show signs of improvement?

Can root rot cause this? when I transplanted her to a 3gal yesterday. The roots seemed pretty much bound and the roots that were at the bottom of the pot were fuzzy but no browning, they seemed to be a healthy white / off-white.

My PK is getting harvested in about 1 week. The plant is starting to suck all the nitrogen from the fan leaves, it is so pretty! the budz are purple and the leaves are turning red/purple and yellow/orange.

My blue dream pretty much bounced back from the def it had. But there is still some yellowing in the bottom leaves. It grew quite a bit and is starting to have lots of white hairs.


My blue dream in veg is having some trouble though... some yellowing and lots of brown spots on my leaves and they are creeping up... I watered her with 1/4 dose of nutes earlier this week but it does not seem to be fixing the problem. I might go with 1/2 dose next water. How long should it take for the plant to bounce back??

all my seedlings are doing pretty good! should be transplanting next week.

Full Cycle, Brandon at California Lightworks recommended the full cycle since this is my primary light. Even though I did tell him it will ONLY be used for flowering, I will not use it for Veg.
The bloom booster is more for a supplement light, so it might lack the blue spectrum if you have no other lights. looking at the Full cycle there is about a 4-1 or 3-1 ratio of Red-Blue which is exactly what's needed for flowering. The bloom booster has no, or very little Blue.

And got it for 359$ instead of 449$ there was a 20% sale. So with shipping and customs it came up to 420$

Yes it is very expensive for a light, but I can already tell it is worth every penny.

 

yeah! and I don't know if it's the light or the strain but my Blue Dream is full of white hairs, I'd say twice as much as my PK when it was under CFLs.

 

picture update!!!


This is the last time you will see my PK alive! I will be harvesting tonight, the leaves have yellowed pretty much throughout the plant and hairs are about 95% red, and the trichs have a good ratio of cloudy to amber. I'd say about 10% 85% 5% of clear/cloudy/amber

The Blue Dream is doing great except for what I think is a minor N def. She exploded with white hairs in the last week!!

And my little fruit auto has shown some white hairs! now grow!! hehe
