  1. Thinking about buying one with 3,200 miles for 8 grand, is this a good deal?

  2. hell yes. Make sure to get your car-fax though. My friend bought a ford ranger with low mileage and we all thought it was a sweet deal, turns out his chassis was bent because of a prior collision and its cost him a gang of money.

  3. It's in perfect condition the owner is actually a family member of mine. I thought 8 grand was a decent deal, I'm trying to get it down to 7,500.

  4. Throw 7000$ out there and see what happens. 3200miles is nothing for a Honda, that shit will make it well past 150k. I'd say your getting a good deal, and it sounds legit since its from a family member, go for it!

  5. Ya I'll see what I can do. I'll have to post some pictures up when I get it.

  6. its not a terrible deal. remember its 5 years old and a lot of major parts tend to go out around 5 years 5,000 miles. see if you can get it down to 7,000, chance are you'll be putting in 1,000 or so in the next 2 years for a transmission, timing belt, gaskets, radiator. but yea that thing could easily last for another 100k miles. btw, the trade in value is worth about 7 grand.

  7. I have a friend that has a 96 Honda accord with over 300,000 miles on it now and he has never done anything to it besides change the oil and replace the exhaust. I'm sure he's had to replace breaks too obviously. Now that's quality

  8. Timing belt should last 60,000 miles. Radiator? On a 5-year-old Honda? Even a poorly-built Ford Focus should have a radiator that outlasts the car. Transmission? At 5,000 miles? Are you serious?

Get the car. It's a good deal and you won't put any serious money into maintenance for years.

  9. shit man its a civic, mines 15 years old and runs like new. only thing i had to do was a new timing belt/water pump but not because of failure, just preventative. I also replaced the head gasket, but again preventative. Tranny, radiator? shit will last at least 10 years, more if you care for your ride. Mine only has 150k on it tho, which is kinda low for a 94.

  10. yeah, im wrong. seriously dont listen to me.

  11. I don't drive much. I figure if I can drive this for 2 years and get back almost what I paid for it, that it will be a good deal.

Craiggers, the car only has 3,200 miles so I don't think anything will go wrong with it any time soon.
