2001 A Space Odyssey + Pink Floyd's Echoes

  1. "[Stanley Kubrick] asked the band to contribute to a predominate part of the sound track. I don't know exactly what or how much he wanted them to do, but obviously, they turned him down. Roger Waters had been quoted as saying that this was one of the few career moves he ever made that he "truly regretted". 2001 was released in 1968, and Meddle was released in 1971. I'm syre you can do the math." -"Saucerful of Secrets; a Pink Floyd Odyssey"

2001 A Space Odyssey sync'd up to Echoes. (or vice versa?)

Get real baked, and either watch it on youtube(in 3 parts), or sync it up yourself (just start echoes right when "Jupiter..." appears). Echoes is the last track on their album Meddle. Enjoy it! :smoke:

  2. Brilliant. Good call lil buddy.

  3. 2001: A Space Odyssey is one of the greatest films of all time. Arthur C. Clarke and Stanley Kubrick are both geniuses.
I'll have to give that a try sometime though.:smoke:
