2000 watt ScrOG RDWC

  1. Wow that's incredible, from 4 plants as well! Looking forward to seeing what your current one looks like :) what do you reckon I could expect from mine? Using 2000w?

  2. Start of week 5 update

No major changes except buds continuing to develop more and more everyday going really well and very excited to see what I end up harvesting

On a side note my night time humidity is a lot better than before but still not dialed in perfectly so sort of mated some ducting to it so that it is pulling humid air out of the tent and sending the drier air back in

Oh and looks like bud porn could be on it's way soon! and here is a taster....

  3. Looks good. As far as weight you’re playing with fire. I run 1000w of cmh in my space. And I yield just about a g/w. Lower for seed runs. Higher for clone runs. But average of a g/w is about right. Figure about 1/2 to 1-1/4 g/w. So 1000g to 2500g lol.

  4. If I can average a gpw I'd be over the moon! only time will tell lol could still monumentally fuck it up yet even 1000g is around 35oz which id be more than happy with for a first time run using hydro

  5. That’s what I pulled last run with 1/3 of my space empty. But all soil.

  6. How many sq ft are you growing in mate?

  7. 6x4.5 is my grow space. Room is 6’3” x 5’9”
Got a 630ns dual bulb cmh with a 3kr spec bulb and a 4K bulb. And another 315 cmh with a 3kr bulb. All growers choice. Love their lighting.
I run blue planet nutrients except my dwc. That’s an old company. Skunklabs horticulture. I don’t think they’re in business anymore though.

  8. So after checking on my babies I noticed that the top of some of the colas were looking like they was starting to get a bit heat stressed so before they all decide to go hermie on me I decided to try and pull some of the buds back through the screen to give a bit more distance after trying a couple I nearly snapped a cola off!

Plan B- find a way to get my light as close to the top of the tent as possible and behold this mess  .....

So it's not pretty but it works as I've managed to gain about an extra 6 inches between the canopy (yes they are cable ties haha) and I've got a ratchet strap on tension for back up

Feels a lot more comfortable at the canopy now :yay:

  9. Start of week 6 update.

So made it all the way to the 6 week mark and the plants are still looking nice and healthy, this should be where it starts getting interesting!

  14. If you can keep nighttime temp swings to no more than 8-10deg your humidity should level out, I like to let them chill a little at night but when I have a full screen during the first few weeks of flower I stay within 3-5deg at night, then the final 2 weeks I drop the night temps more the plants are expressing less water, sure your buds are full an sticky but their water use goes way down... I do live in a desert like conditions though... Worth a shot

So nothing much has changed just waiting for my girls to mature lol did find a banana on one of the buds though! Pulled it off and not seen one since.
On another note my quart curing jars have arrived today ready for the harvest.

Pics below of the canopy and a couple of buds plus my Frankenstein dehumidifier set up haha
