2000 watt grow

hey there guys. Decided to finally make an account after years of lurking and learning. Not my first grow, but definitely my first grow on this scale.

My setup.

Veg tent is 5 by 10. Only using half of it at the moment. With 1 4 foot 8 bulb T5. I have 1 mother under it. 5 rooted clones in solo cups as well as 35 clones in an occupied cloner waiting to show roots.(4 days in)

Flower area is 12 x 9

Currently only have 6 plants flowering. 3 gorilla glue and 3 cherry bubba. Both of which genetics I’ve killed off. So letting these finish off. Flipped on May 7th. So roughly at the half way point.

3 gallon pots. In promix. Which I’m no longer using. I’ve decided to go gold tupar route(following grow)

So far so good as far as other grows and harvests go. No complaints.

But I’m here for 2 reasons. 1 of which is to finish my current grow with you guys. 2nd of which is advice on my following grow. I’m trying make the best of my grow area with no wasted space.

Pics will be up tomorrow after 6pm. Thanks in advice for any and all advice. Hopefully I’ll make a few friends and get more knowledge than I currently have now . That’s the goal.

Forgot all about these three plants. They are blue Martian. Out of a 10 regular pack. Popped 9 and got 4 female. 1 was a slow mover so I tossed her. I took 2 clones from each. Maybe I’ll get lucky and 1 pheno will be a keeper. That way I’ll have the genetics if that comes to be the case. 4th day of flower.

 

High times was also here in Michigan this year. Needless to say I didn’t make it because I was working. BUT my buddy went and has gotten all kinds of goodness(seeds). So I can’t complain too much I guess. His stash is my stash and mine is his lol. ​

 

Cmon guys, let’s get some dialogue going. Any advice on either the flower or veg set up? Any strains I should try out? Hell, how what your Saturday? Lol

 

I honestly don’t know. Built the area and threw the 6 existing flowering plants inside lol. Never ran this flower area yet. Not even sure how many plants I could fit in there. I also have 2 more 1000 hps I was thinking of throwing in there. Not sure my route yet though.

 

They are in fact all photos at the moment. My last run I had gorilla glue(which has been my main stain for a few grows) and I also rain cherry bubba. Bumped into 2 phenos. The short, Indica dominate was good. But the more sativa pheno was literally all purple. Which is why I decided to keep her around. Not just for the fact she’s purple, but she’s fire as well.

 

I usually super crop to even the canopy. And top once or twice to get more top colas. I wouldn’t know where to start on lst etc. wanted to attempt main lining. But seems like a lot of work with a lot of plants lol. So I haven’t tried at it just yet. Maybe I’ll run 1 or 2 that route just to see. Also the plants that are in flower are from my previous grow so they are in pro mix. I water once my pots are light. Yes, hand watering. Next run will be in gold tupur. Which is what my cherry bubba mother is in as well as clones in solo cups. Mother I water daily. She drinks. Clones around every 3 days.

Gotcha. Never knew hst was supercropping. Learn something new everyday. Which is a beautiful thing. And go ahead, ask a way.

 

I HAVE done it during flowering. But I wouldn’t do it again. It’s a lot of stress for a flowering plant. For ME and my experience anyway. My thought is same rules apply in veg as in flower. It takes a week or so to recover which in fact would add to your 12/12 weeks in the end. So if you were going to chop at week 9 you’d be chopping at week 10. During flowering id LST, for that reason. And specifically because it’s an auto flower. Just my .02

 

I would assume from my quick read up on lst. If you were do go more and more (bent) over each day you’d be fine. No stress no damage to your plants. And I’ll go do some research on coco hemps now. Sounds like MORE watering for me if I assumed correctly lol
