2 weeks old-dried up

  1. I have a plant that underwent a transplant, in which i ran out of soil. I made a mound of soil around the base of the plant, and was going to add more soil (when i got it) aroud the outside of the pot, to make it all even across the top.

when i returned to add soil a day later(its at a friends house), the plant had all by died. the leaves were dried up and crispy, and they dont look like they'll rise from the dead. i guess the lack of soil around the base led to the water to dry up fast and then the plant.

the stem is still strong and the roots are still alive, is there any way to revive/start this baby over? or should i consider it a loss?
