2 weeks and seeds not popping.......

    hey guys not a nebie here but i just bought 10 seeds AFGHANI #1 from a seed bank and they have been in rockwool ph adjusted water for two weeks and i just opened up the rockwool to see wtf is going on and not one of them has even cracked wtf is going on. any ideas i spent almost 200 bucks on those and nothing... im pissed

    Did you plant them all? Hope not, you do not adjust rockwool pH with water, you adjust it by getting "rockwool conditioner" the product and pre-treating/conditioning your rockwool for growing. If you didn't use the conditioner it is no wonder that they didn't germinate. Check out paper towel germination method and then you will not have any guesswork and wasted time waiting to see if they germinate.

    chimera ive used the same method before and never had a problem

    dont want to sound stupid but i heard that some times an x-ray type machine can kill the seed. im not sure but.

    Well I guess this time it didn't, time to use another method I'd think.

    hey chimera have you ever heard of a x-ray type machine killing a seed ?
