Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by Smegman., Sep 20, 2011.

  1. Just finished watching requiem for a dream and noticed that marijuana is not at all portrayed negatively whilst even caffeine is likened to amphetamines in the film. I wanted to know is this done on purpose, are the makers of the film pro-pot?

Also, when scientists are experimenting with THC and they inject pure THC into subjects, how did they get it? Is it made synthetically (marinol?) or extracted perfectly somehow?

Tl;dr in requiem for a dream MJ is not portrayed negatively, why? Makers of film support MJ?
Also how do scientists get pur THC for lab testing? Synthetic (marinol?)? Or chemical extraction process?
