2 ton epoxy question

    I fixed my friends bowl using 2 ton epoxy. It's a ceramic piece and looks perfectly fine now. I was wondering if flame can melt this glue. I can't find it anywhere online so I figured I'd try here.

    You are in grave danger if you smoke out of that piece.

    for real? Only a little leaked through to the inside and I whipped it with a Q-tip several times til nothing else came out.

    Does the pipe get hot where the epoxy is?

    think of a the bowl as the head and the long part as the body. Its glued in the neck area.

    I wouldn't risk it. I don't know how your piece heats up, but that's a bit too close to the heat source for comfort, imo.

    If you managed to heat it up enough to combust or give off fumes, it would be very unhealthy and probably dangerous. Not worth it.
