This is my first grow. I had some seeds from various strains that I've smoked since I couldn't order any. The 2 that germinated after using the paper towel trick have been planted and now one has a beautiful little cotlydon and the other...well the seed shell is still there but the taproot has grown fenomolly. I know this because the shell had sprouted above the soil and I was sure it was a dud so I took it all out the soil and saw the taproot start to grow and take form...so now what do I do with this plant? I put it back in the soil root facing down and covered the shell with a thin layer of soil like you would a recently germinated seed, but is there any hope for it?
just carefully remove the shell, some times it gets stuck. next time don't remove the taproot from the soil.

This........get used to that if you plan on growing MJ plants.......it WILL happen to you again, more than once.....
Well I broke it but the leaves all came and fell apart too now I got this white weak root sticking out the soil
Leave it. Cool to see if leaves form, doubt it. I wouldn't have touched the plant that young. Popped over a dozen seeds never had that happen, maybe bury the seed down an extra centimeter next time so it comes off in the soil? I have known people to mist the seedling and remove the stuck shell a day or two after it pops so it has some stability.
