2 or 4 piece for Rolling?

  1. Alright so I just wanted to get some opinions here, not just a standard 2 or 4 piece grinder thread, I was wondering whether you guys prefer 2 or 4 piece specifically for rolling?

Personally for bongs or pipes I like the coarser grind of a 4-piece, but when I'm rolling a joint or blunt I take my 2 piece SC every time, the finer grind it gives me is just so much easier to roll IMO.

  2. I don't think it would matter if its a 2 or 4 piece grinder . Only thing that would matter is if they both have the same amount of teeth & are in the same spots imo

  3. Not at all unfortunately, because the weed doesn't fall through in a 2-piece it can be ground finer whereas with a 4-piece it usually comes out still in little chunks a 2-piece grinds it to a much finer consistency.

Admittedly you can turn the 4-piece upside down to get the same effect, but that involves turning your kief chamber upside down too which isn't a great idea.

  4. i have a 3 piece that i just keep turned upside down until i feel the herb is grinded all the way. It doesn't have a kief screen in it but i dont really 'save' my kief lol

  5. I disagree. My 4-piece, without turning it upside down, grinds my herb to a very fine, perfect consistency for rolling joints :) I absolutely love it!

  6. I find that when I turn my Sharpstone upside down for joints the kief is too sticky to go anywhere.

Even if it does move it'll just fall right back onto the screen, and then once you turn it back over it'll probably go back.

  7. It does not matter how many pieces a grinder has, they all grind the weed virtually the same way. How many pieces/parts is irrelevant.

  8. As long as you're happy with the size of the holes in your 4 piece grinder then you're fine. If the holes are too big then larger pieces of cannabis will be allowed through. This is easily remedied by turning your 4 piece upside down for a few seconds.

  9. Its really about the size of the holes, if you get a grinder with big holes, the bud will obv be broken down less.
