I was thinking of raising mice or hamsters in my closet but i think that would hurt the animals because of the 24/0 vegetative time that im using. So my plan is keeping like a hundred crickets in a glass or plastic containter and feed them lettuce or whatever they eat and keep them under the plant. They wont be able to escape because they wont be able to stick to the sides of the container. My other idea is to "spill" a thin layer of sparkling water on the floor of the closet. If i choose this idea, how often should i spill it? What do you guys think?
