    1. Can you use a 70% ISO solution? I'm aware i'll probably get lower quality hash but they only sell 70% where I live

    2. Why do you need to freeze the bud before you make it into hash?

    Not sure about the first question but I'm pretty sure freezing bud helps the trichs fall off easier.

    Freezing can remove all the excess moisture left in the Bud:smoking:

    i think the higher the % the better but 70% will work
    also freezing is supposed to make the thc freeze and thus making it easier for them to break off.

    How do they not sell 91%? It's usually sitting right next to the 70 at Walgreens or CVS or any of those places. Wal-Mart has it pretty cheap too.

    idk I haven't seen 91% around. Has any1 had success with 70% though?

    ask them if they have it behind the counter. if not you may have to let it dry over a few day's or heat it AFTER the alcohol is evaporated.

    Meh I guess I could try asking, I highly doubt they'd have it BC if they don't have it in the store though. In any case, yeah I plan on letting it dry for 3-4 days under a fan as opposed to 24 hours. Just wanted to make sure 70% would absorb as much THC from the herb as 91%.

    you can always do multiple runs and get different grade products.
