just so you know op the 1st part of this message is directed towards the person who posted the rolling eyes which you did not, brea did. The 2nd part was directed towards breas comment. Seems there's some confusion though I'm sure you understood.
hey bro just want to thank you for your pm since I couldn't do it there, its cool I'm glad you finally came around....thanks for the laugh you made my day....lol
Well that got a little out of hand. Thanks for everyone's advice it has most definitely helped me out. It seems the babies like the room humidity so far but it's definitely going to be a challenge keeping rh down. Although I'm using a smaller exhaust fan now, with only 4 CFLs jm at 72 degrees and 60% humidity. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Fimming question: what is the likelihood that the fimming technique will not be successful? I've seen some examples in a couple videos I've watched and its makin me nervous! Also, looks like I can attempt fimming at around 3 weeks? Or on the third node (new growth off of second) node) ? Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Update: 4 days in, happy with my results so far. Chalking it up to my great organic soil and the mysterious LITFA method. Platinum Kush bagseed Critical kush Tangerine dream Light cycle: 20/4 Watering schedule: As needed- twice so far with bottled water. I may switch to dechlorinated tap water being as i live In Oregon where the tap is great. ORGANICS QUESTION: I would really like to apply a slurry or tea within the next week. (Or maybe just a top dressing) but unfortunately I do not have an air pump or air stones to do it properly, What is the most beneficial recipe at this point and will it still be beneficial after steeping in a bucket for a day? I was thinking Id use kelp meal and alfalfa meal for a tea and possibly top dress with compost and good quality ewc?
Update: Platinum Kush is taking off on the other girls, possibly because of the pot I have them in. All is looking good though! Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Not sure what's going on exactly. Leaves on the platinum are turning dark green, canoeing slightly and turning yellow on the tips. Seems like a nitrogen toxicity problem?? Help! Lol Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Should I be able to tell the sex here soon?? Is this female preflower?? Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Update week 4: Platinum Kush bagseed is growing like crazy. Twice as bushy as the rest! Hoping it does t come out a male😅 Tangerine Dream Critical kush finally catching up Starting some LST, both the platinum and tangerine dream were topped, I let the critical kush be for now since it's running a bit slower than the rest. Looks like Stipules, not pistils, the female preflower. Can you raise your lights during flower? it doesn't look like much room and they can stretch up to 3 times their height.
the lights are in a fixed position but I have the plants propped on a shoe box. What's nice is my cab has no floor, so if extra room is needed I can prop up the cab itself, putting 2x4s underneath. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Platinum kush (bagseed) is kickin into gear! Forum1420410688.534117.jpg] Im thinking one more week and I'll switch to flower. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Update! This picture is from approximately 2 weeks ago, since then they have shot up twice this size and been put into a flowering light cycle. I even needed to prop the cabinet up to keep them from being on the lights 😅 Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Update from today! So good so far week 1 of flower but still no signs of sex on the one bagseed! Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Keep it up man. I plan to start soon and I like the cabinet idea. Smell isn't a concern? With it being.propped up on 2x4 having no bottom zero way to reduce the smell correct? Sent from GC App
It's starting to smell but smell isn't too much of a concern for me. My lights aren't adjustable nor are they at the top of the cabinet so I'm guessing if you fixed the lights to the top of the cab you shouldn't have to prop it up! Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
