2 day old seedlings, should I shade them lightly?

    I have 2 day old seedlings in pots outside. Should I shade them from direct sun until they set a couple of sets of leaves? I have them under a weave patio umbrella right now.

    If they popped in full sun, no.

    Agree with Tuolumne.

    I live in Sonora btw..... In Tuolumne county.
