2.3oz first time grow in my tiny tent. Pics!

Discussion in 'Indoor Grow Journals' started by mtwtfm, May 3, 2016.

  1. Hey all. I started a grow journal a while back and it can be found here. Here are the results of that grow!

    2.3oz of good smokeable bud
    2.3oz of ok useable trim

My setup: Northern Lights in a 2"x2"x5" grow tent in my closet, hydroponic (general hydro grow bucket), 180w LED + 150 HPS during flowering.

My girlfriend helped me harvest which was way more work than I anticipated! She's a keeper. ;-) I smoked a little after it dried and it's really nice! I'm excited to let it cure for a month and start smoking it regularly and make some edibles (I'm thinking saltwater taffy).

Here are pics of the final process. Enjoy!

  3. Thanks man! I was really excited with the results. I'm not trying to win any competitions, just grow something smokeable and that's exactly what I got. Really fun stuff, as you know!

  7. You didn't leave that light on when they were drying did you? They should be dried and cured int he dark and kept in the dark.

  8. Yeah for sure. Light was just for pics! Thanks for the insight. Yeah I live in the midwest and had a trip out west for a few days. So they dried like that for roughly 5 days. Drying was actually the most stressful part of the process because I was afraid my inexperience could put too-moist buds in an air-tight container and ruin the harvest! But I just checked daily for a while and now I feel confident that I got it right the first time. I'm using Cvault storage containers for curing. 2 more weeks and we'll see how I did!
