What's up all. So I just got my Vaporbrothers hands free today, just used it for the first time...I know I was to understand that it was a different high...I smoke for back pain, well I just took 3 hefty size loads (by myself, all in the time of 2 hours) and my back still hurts. Anyone else not work for them for back pain out of a Vaporizer? I am not sure if turning up the heat does anything, I have mine set up to noon (it's where the instructions say to do) and am taking just a nice long breath in. So is it just completely different and it's not gunna work for me, or am I doing something wrong...thank to all in advance!
It's all in the temp. http://forum.grasscity.com/medical-marijuana/373071-properties-cannabinoids-pic.html one of those Words that start with the letter A means pain killer.
Inhale nice and slowly. If you pull fast, it cools down the air that goes over the load. A slow pull keeps the air nice and hot and will get you big vapor hits. I get loads of relief for my neck pain from a previous injury. Try attaching it to your bong if you have one. thanks everyone. So this is probably a realy stupid question, but I'm a newbie when it comes to vaporizing. So my question is...does anyone know how high the vape temp gets? What the max setting is if I have it turned all the way up? It looks like I should be using it at <220 degrees. I bought the new dark coffee model and the off position is around 5:30, I've been using it around noon (cuz that's what it says in the instructions...) So group consensous...should I try turning it up a bit and breath very slowly or turn it down a bit and breath very slowly. The only thing I can think of is that I'm breathing too deep and fast. I don't know, I was just dissapointed to say the least and wanted to know what I was doing wrong that I didn't have any relief...once again thanks for all comments/suggestions!
Well i have a vapebros also but my off position is around 9. I normally vape around 1-2 and it works everytime, sometimes takes a little time to heat up but you can def tell when you get a good one.
I set my Vapor bros around 12 or slightly past when vaping high grade cannabis. You'll know when it`s too high. you will see smoke or blacken your remains Find the temp where it werks for you
thanks for all the responses, The only way I've been able to get any feeling of relieve or "high" out of it is if I turn it up pretty high, (It's only a 1/4 turn from being full heat) and taking really deep fast breaths for the first 5-15 seconds, then just having a normal breath for about 10-20 seconds...Is this sounding normal? It also seems to me I've had to Vape a good amount of weed to get anthing remotely close to relieve. My only concern is that the vape is getting really hot, same with the whip, even the "safeguard" on the whip is getting hot if I leave it on there for longer than 10 minuetes. That can't be good for the vape right? I have to be doing something wrong? or no? Any other suggestions or just keep doing this as it has a lifetime warranty? One last thing and I'm done, How much different' is the high? My back pain really isn't completely wiping it out like smoking does, I honetsly just feel like I'm not even high. I don't even know how to explain it, but it's definitely getting the job done for either pain relief, or being high...but I have asthma, so needless to say I REALLY want this to work, not to how much I spent. Suggestions? Thanks All!
alot of people say the vape high is more of a head/sativa high, not so much of a body high. Even when smoking an indica strain. Atleast thats what alot of people that own vapes have told me. Dont know how true that is. Ive used a vape few time, but i tend to always have a sativa strain on me.
Did the weed change color....THAT is the only thing that matters, IMHO. Temperature readouts are no guarantee. Lights going on and off are no real indication. Start your unit. At some point try it, and immediately look at the herb. Did it go black? Too hot...turn the unit down. Did it get just a little darker in color? Did you get a smoky vapor at all? If necessary turn it up a bit. Stir and retamp, then try again. At some point you're going to learn where to set YOUR machine so that the herb darkens gradually, but you still get its effects. Submitted for your approval, Tyg
I'm convinced I'm doing something wrong. The amount of weed I've vaped in the last two days, I should still be passed out...If I would've smoked the same amount I definitely would have been perma-stoned, and worst yet, is the fact that I'm not getting any back pain relief. So my questions are as follows: What could I possibly try different? go back to lower temps and small breaths? I really am getting frustrated now as I've wasted a lot of weed the last 2 days, with no results. The one time I actually got anything was from turning it up almost all the way and taking really big inhales, and that still wasn't the pain relief/high I was looking for. Are there people out there that just don't like the vape? I see so many reviews about how the high is so nice, and the pain relief is amazing, which really leads me to believe I'm doing something very wrong. help please before I put this on craigslist and buy a bong...thoughts?
Did your herb change color? Did you acually see vapor? Yes, some people just don't like vaporizing. Try finding someone else who is using it for pain, and see what they say. Personally, I'm in a lot of pain from my back and neck, and I don't get any relief either.
Okay I'm going to try to help you out (I have a dabuddha) 1) Turn on the vape around half way (on mine this is the 12/1 o'clock position) 2) Let it sit for 5 minutes to warm up 3) Fill about 1/3 of the wand with bud (filling it with more isn't better) 4) Take a LONG, SLOW inhale 5) When you breathe out you should have a nice cloud of vapor 6) Stir every few hits 7) After you're finished, the weed should look like this... 8) You really want to get the temperature correct. A higher temp is not always better. It is better to start at a very low heat and work your way up. 9) Once you find your perfect temp you'll love it
well ya, that's what mine looks like after I'm done...maybe not as black in spots, but ya, I'm just kinda lost I guess...I'm definitely going to try the lower temp and slower breath and see what happens there...I just don't like wasting weed when I'm trying it out, makes me feel like I want to say F it, I'll wait until I start growing to mess witth all this trial and error...lol Still really don't know, guess I just have to keep playing with it maybe. Can I ask why noon is the standard? does anyone know what temp that technically is on the Vaborbrothers model? Thanks all.
idk about you guys, but i keep hitting it till it's ash and with a vape, thats a good 10 hit per bowl.even when it looks like your not getting a hit, keep inhaling, vapor is some what invisible.
