Hi Guys I'm planning to set up my first tent. I decided to go with 75cmX75cmX120cm(or140cm) (inches = 300X47)tent. I want and need to use LEDs. I was looking at MARS II 400W but I'm not sure if that's a good choice. I'm thinking that 300W might do well too (keeping the energy bill low is one of the priorities). I want to plant 4-5 plants. Can anyone advice me on that? Also I'm thinking about using coco instead of soil - would you guys give me some general advice? Thank you so much for your help. Regards Luke
I had a 700w mars ii in a 80x80x160 tent and got great results growing auto's. Try and get the taller tent if you can, I think this size goes up to 180cm if you look around. It'll make life easier. I'd go with the 700w if you can afford it, it still only draws 350w from the mains. I didn't noticed it on my power bill. This site has good growing advice http://www.growweedeasy.com/
I am running 4 autos in coco with the mars 700 in a space almost exactly that size.. it's going pretty good.

I went with an LED that has both grow and bloom... 300 watts and its rocking it out. I do plan to ad a 600 watt one as well, but for this moment in time, this has been a delight to grow with. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
