1st time growing

Discussion in 'First Time Marijuana Growers' started by Weedbrosuidafrika, Dec 17, 2018.

  1. The plant is almost 2 months old on the 22nd of December.
It's summer right now so it's growing outdoors in a pot.
I don't know much about the strain or what type of weed it is.
I grew it from a seed I found in good quality weed. It seems to be a female because the pistels are clearly showing (I assume might be incorrect) IMG-20181217-WA0061.jpeg 2018-12-15%2011.29.43%201.jpg 20181022_210504.jpg

  2. I see no pistils. What hemisphere do you live in?

  3. The southern hemisphere (South Africa)
And I attached a pic of the pistels 1545052041935.jpg

  4. You don't have pistils. The middle two things are stipules and the outer two things are new growth. Besides - you're growing outside and you're in the middle of summer - the daylight has to be 14 hours or less for flowering to occur.

  5. Does your plant look healthy? For the most part, yes. However, for two months outdoors, it should be a lot bigger than that. If you had a larger pot with at least 30-50% perlite into your soil mix, your root mass would be heavier and healthier, in turn, making what is above the soil, that much bigger. The bigger the root, the bigger the fruit. A light airy soil allows oxygen to get to the root zone, adds drainage to the soil reducing chances of over watering issues. Good luck
