Il be starting a grow in the next few days and need any and all the help i can get.. 1mx1m tent. 600w mh for vege and 600w hps for flowering, im growing in coco coir.. Iv got the a-b cana coco nutrient, I need to know if i should put anything with the clones when i first put them in.. Do i run my fan/filter when the light is off.. So you have Clones ready to go in, not sure what you mean by your question about what goes in with them? Fans need to be 24 hour, air flow is important, it doesn't stop at night outdoors so it shouldn't indoors either Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum

If your ballast has a variable setting, put it at 50% to start. If no variable and it's 100%, that's fine too. Either way, put your hand at the canopy level of the clones once you have them settled in their spot. You want the light shining down on the top of your hand. You should adjust the light downward towards the plants until you just start to feel noticeable warmth on the top of your skin. It really is a touch/feel kind of situation, but a good starting point at 100% is going to be around 1m (3ft) from the top of your plants, then work your way down.
