Update About Advertising on Grasscity Important: A New Chapter for Grasscity

    I dont know if this should go in the grow journal or here becuaes i have a question about what i have done so far. Ok so today i got my growing space ready. I found a spot removed the vegetation that was thier and dug a hole maybe like 10 inches deep. The soil was kind of a light brown with a hint of orange and had some worms crawling aorund in it it was kind of rocky but i took them out. So then i added some chopped up bannans, strawberrys, and apples to the bottm of the whole and covered it back up with the soil. I'm planning on starting to grow my plants april 15th so that should give some time for the things to breakdown. So my question is have i dont anything wrong so far?

    Hey dude, your soil sounds good. I have never read about putting bannanas or other choped fruit into the hole you have prepared. It should be deeper 2 feet is the norm I believe. If you want you could add a little Dolomite Lime to the whole you have dug. If you add the lime now it'll pretty much be broken down before you plant.
