They two have only been in pc for 2 weeks. In closet prior. Had some issues with overwatering. Let dry out for 3 days, watered this morning. They look better but still struggling. Going with 4 cfl's 20hr/4hr light cycle. Should I put them into flowering? Or change light cycle? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
subbed. they seem really droopy from over watering. dont set a schedule for when to water your plants. you need to check the soil if it needs water -- not the days. stick a finger in there 1-2 knuckle deep. if its dry then its time to water. how are the temps in there? you can flower whenver you choose -- just count for 2x-3x the plants size.
yeah, I really over watered them. New to this and was unsure about watering. Unsure about the temps but have moved the container closer to intake fans. I think I'll start the flowering schedule and change out the light bulbs. Thanks for reply.
Another good way to check if you need to water is to use a toothpick. Remember when mom used to have you stick a toothpick in the brownies after they came out of the oven? If it came out clean, you were good to eat them since they were dry enough. Same thing here. Stick a toothpick down into the soil as far as you can. If it comes out with any dark colored dirt on it, no water is needed. If it comes out totally clean, time to water.
I agree that they seem a little droopy. I would give them a few days to rebound back before switching them over to flower. You said 2 weeks in PC but in closet before that - how old are they all together? They look like they have some amazing potential but gotta let them get big and strong before flower time! Keep us posted for sure! Hornchen
All together they are 5 almost 6 weeks from germination. I have cut down on the watering, only water when they need it. Have them under 4 2700k cfl's for flowering now. Trying to get some tiger bloom liquid nutrients online for them since I've not used any fertilizer other than miracle gro shake and feed plant food week 1.
