Ok so I am planning on doing an outdoor grow and I have a couple questions. 1) Which of these should I use i want the best quality not yield: Green House Seeds Green-O-Matic Feminized Lowryder #2 Feminized Lowryder Easy Ryder AKA Lowryder #2 x AK47 2)What should I do if we get a cold night randomly? 3) The soil around my home is pretty rocky and not fit to grow in some I am planning on taking some pots/buckets into the woods. How big should i start off? 4) Dears are gonna be a problem, I heard Irish spring shavings work. Is there any truth to this? Am I going to need alot of insecticide? thank you in adv.
dig a 3x3 hole and chop up the soil put your plants in 3 gal potters. and id say first choice i dont like lowryder for some odd reason. take wire mesh and put it around your plants about 3 ft high. idk what to do about the deers tho the irish spring might work idk ive never heard of it before
Thank you I found people talking about deer off so I'll try to find that in mid may. Also the reason I am going with an autoflowering plant is because of college
I'm going to start growing lowryder #2 as well. I'll be doing mine in a PC case grow box though, I'm still trying to decide on what strain to grow outside because I have ample space and great soil to work with, as long as I keep my plants from getting more than 5 feet tall or so but with proper trimming and maybe some LST I could grow a monster bush outdoors.
That's the one I meant to say I was going with. I love AK so a fast budding version of that would be perfect for me.
1) Don't know about the Green-O-Matic, but all the lowryder and lowryder crosses are crap. Also, fem seeds have a lot less vigor than normal seeds and are not the best for outdoor growing because of this. 2) If you get a random cold night there is nothing you can do. If it is a good outdoor strain one cold night is not going to phase them. 3) The bigger the better. The size of the plant is determined by the side of the root ball which is determined by the size of the pot. 4) That is total BS. Deer repellents do not work. Period. Many people claim otherwise but if you have a starving animal they are going to ignore any and all repellents to get at food. The right one in the right area may work most of the time, but if you are growing cannabis why take the chance? All it takes is one hungry deer to ruin months of work. The only for sure way to keep deer out is a fence. That is the ONLY method that will work 100% of the time.
