    So heres the story...

We let in this pretty nice guy to live with us for a while while he gets back on his feet. He seemed cool and was telling us all about his garden where he grew some pretty dank stuff and he was giving us tips on growing and what not. A couple days after living with us he comes home a little drunk saying he met this "lady friend" and he was going to see her the next night. Next morning I wake up and we hang out for a bit in the morning then he leaves to work. I didnt see him the rest of the day or night. Next morning I wake up about 5 am and go outside to smoke a bowl and a cigarette. I walk outside and see this nice truck outside parked in front of the fire hydrant. I remember thinking "what an idea parking in front of a fire hydrant" Then later in the morning the truck is gone and me and some friends go outside into my friends truck and smoke a bowl out of this steam roller. The same truck pulls up next to us and the guy driving is the guy living with us. We start talking through the windows and we ask him where he got the truck and he says
"dont worry about it" and he said it like he was joking around. Then we ask him to join us and he hops in and smokes a joint with us. I start talking about Aston Martins "cars" and how much i love them and how theres a dealership around here. He offers to give us a ride in the truck for free all the way to the dealer and back. Its about a 20 minute drive to get there. we even offer to pay gas but he said it was ok. The drive there was weird. The guy was acting kinda sketchy the whole way. Espacially when we talk about the truck he has. We overlook it and enjoy the ride. We hang out at the Aston Martin dealership drooling over the cars and admiring the craftsmanship in them. We were there for a good hour or so then we decided to leave. The way back was a little less sketchy and we all had fun watching one of those crazy sign spinners on the side of the road. The next morning he wakes up like normal and drives the truck to work. I guess that day the police picked up the truck while he was at work or on break or something. Then the next morning we find out that the truck wasnt his. Then from there the news just kept coming. Heres the story about him and the truck....

That "lady friend" he was talking about was a 67 year old gay mexican man who just moved here. And when he went on the "date" he went straight to the guys apartment, broke in, killed the guy, robbed his apartment, stole his truck, and came back to my house and passed out in the truck in front of the fire hydrant. The cops didnt get him till the morning after the picked up the truck. They got him at a friends house, using flash bang granades, swat moved in and got both men...the killer and the other guy whos house he was staying at. They gave the killer maximum penalty of life with no possiblilty of parole. His charges were 1st degree murder, aggrevated theft and assault, battery, aggrevated vehicle theft, and some other shit. They gave the other guy life but he got out because no DNA was found at the scene of the crime.

Then we looked up the guy who was living with us, it turns out that he became a registered sex offender at 12 years old. Then he moved to florida and got 3 more sex offender charges. then moved back here to Colorado and got another. And it turns out that the reason he needed to get back on his feet was because he beat his gf and was on work release. The gf he beat says she wont believe that he committed the murder unless she has proof he was in the truck. HAHA i was in the truck with him ALL DAY and thats plenty of proof for me haha. Anyways...I believe the man knew he was going to be caught. He drove the truck to work 2 days after he kills a guy for it. an dont only that he parks it in front of a fire hydrant the same night which is plenty for a cop to come up and ask him questions. Everybody in my house was terrefied when they found out hes a killer. But honestly, in my opinion, I dont regret letting him live here. He was a nice guy, very respectful and polite. I dont believe we were in any danger.

  2. damn thats pretty crazy

  3. thats hella crazy lol, i know this kid who robbed a game room(underground casino in texas) and eneded up killing somone he got capital murder :/

  4. dude that is a crazy story if its true, i would start doin back ground checks, good thing cops did come to your house and find him there...you could got charged with something..1st degree murder is no joke like worst charge you could get...lucky for you nothing happened..you cant trust no one these days..thats a crazy story if its true..smoke you a joint and be glad nothin happened to you or your family..

  5. There are always two sides to every person. Just be happy you're not the victim.

  6. Damn, that's whack.

Goes to show how much you can hide with a smiling face.

  7. someone who is a multiple sex offender and a murderer is NOT a "nice guy".

  8. yea dude you werent lying, i just looked that shit up, looks like it was a home invasion gone wrong...says a 67year old man was murdered and 2 suspects one who is the name you mentioned...your lucky my dude nothing happened to your or your family...i wouldnt suggest letting people you dont know to well staying at your place..but to each his own, glad your ok! Crazy ass story for sure!

  9. haha exactly.

  10. It is a 100% true story. Happend in the middle of january. But he was a nice and respectful man. The truck was like a 2005 toyota pickup. And yeah Im pretty fortunate. I had some friends stay over and met him also. It was a weird feeling knowing the guy you were just living with, just got arrested for 1st degree murder. The second guy I mentioned is named Ryker. He got sentenced but they found him innocent thank god because Ryker is nice guy who just plays xbox and smokes weed all day. Weve known him for about a year too, hes always been respectful. But some things the were overlooked is the fact that one of his previous girlfriends said he was a really good actor and that we should watch him closely. We shouldve taken that more seriously.

  11. Yeah he doesn't look like your typical murderer

  12. Interesting story. That's nuts man, life is messed up but I'm glad to hear it all worked out well.

  13. I feel more sorrow for the victim than hate for the murderer. I don't know him myself but based on the info they released about him, he seemed like a really nice guy who never meant anybody harm. He didn't deserve this cruel end.

I wish your "friend" a very long life filled with regret.

As part of the felony murder doctrine... I don't see how he could be charged with both murder as well as assault and battery.. if all of this occurred in the same string of events, he'd only be charged with murder.

Also, it looks as though charges were placed.... it sounds like these guys just got arrested - there is no way there'd be a sentence handed down yet. If anything they'll be held until their trials and then the sentencing will come down.

either way, that's friggin nuts. a good reason why I don't have roommates lol... consider yourself fortunate that this dude messed up when he did... otherwise .. who knows?

  15. that is really, really fucked up.

  16. same, I never met the victim either but my friends landlord knew him, and said his wife just passed away in nevada so he moved here for a fresh start. Sadly he moved here only 3 days before Evan killed him. Evan "murderer" was honestly a good guy too. Some things just went wrong in his passed. Hes had no family and no restrictions. Its not his fault he ended up this way. He was respectful, polite and a fellow stoner and grower. I dont think he deserved life. Maybe a long time but not life. How is someone supposed to learn their lesson if they dont have a chance to show theyve changed?

  17. that picture of him, he's got them crazy eyes..i don't even know what to say really, just life i guess..i cant even find an appropriate emote, peace

  18. Im just stating what I know. All the charges might be on the link but idk the specific charges or what it will come down to. He will get life for sure since it was first degree murder of an "at risk" individual, and some kind of theft charge along with his background of being a sex offender...hes screwed. He confessed to the charges I believe. 1st degree murder is capitol punishment in colorado...and thats what hes charged with so the sentence will no doubt be life. And yeah, i also feel lucky that we didnt get pulled over while I was in the truck he stole....wouldve been a long day haha. One guy (Ryker) was found innocent though so hes out now and back on xbox haha. The Cops havent told us shit, all we know is behind the scenes and what we read in the paper. Detectives have asked us plenty of questions, i dont see why we cant get some answers haha.
