  1. I just set up a 400watt hps in a wardrobe grow. I did not realize how hot it was going to get. I can get the temp to 100 degrees with the doors open and a fan blowing on it. for stealth reasons i need to keep the doors closed and the temp got to 125. The plant on the left is Pineapple Chunk that i have had under two 90w leds for about a month and the other i just planted which is Royal Queen Fruit Spirit. This is my first grow and could use a lot of help

  2. An exhaust fan is a must for that setup. I'd get an air cooled hood too. What are you going to do for odor control?

  3. I am still in the process of trying to figure out what will be best. I dont have the money right now for a different hood. how would i set up the exhaust fan

  4. Exhaust is easy as pie man, well if you have the right setup in your room. I have a bathroom on the other side of the wall of my grow room so I cut a circular hole in my wall, got a 8 ft. dryer duct hooked up to my bathroom exhaust fan and the air that is sucked from my grow area is sucked through into my bathroom exhaust and out the house.

  5. get one of those bathroom fans and put it on the highest point behind the the cubbard. then get a aluminium ducting for it then make some intakes at the bottom of the cubbard and put in a u turn so you dont get light flowing in there this way your fan will suck air throgh the bottom and extract heat at the top doing two works at once. aka removing heat and making co2 float past your leafs.

  6. that is great information. this has been one of my biggest issues. I live in an apartment so i cant really make big changes. Are the bathroom fans able to plug into electrical outlets or what can i get. links are very helpful for visual reference. I hope i can give my girls the best care and in return i know they will take care of me in the end lol

  7. 1. to take down temps AND odor control which WILL be an issue when you start flowering you should use an inline fan WITH a carbon filter
this is the link to the one I used for my closet grow
Grow Room Ventilation 160 CFM Carbon Filter & Fan 4 inch - TheLAShop
    2. ALL fans make NOISE, therefor a duct muffler is a must for a stealth grow.
this is the one I would have bought if I didnt make one myself
Hydroponics 4" Inline Fan Duct Noise Muffler Silencer - TheLAShop
I also live in an apartment so venting under the building in the summer and into the apt in the winter is what I do
those bathroom fans may be cheaper but they make a LOT of noise and cant be muffled
    hope this helps

  8. oh yeah you need a filter. but you can put that ontop inside the cubbard and then relay the exaust throgh ducts behind it where you have a fan sucking air from the top of the space. just keep in mind these filters can be huge so take your exact dimentions and be sure to have space for ducting. in this case i would go with a more powerful fan since a filter will put alot of resistance in the fans sucking ability. then just vent into the apt if you have a filter there are no worryies about smell.
