  1. Here is my 1st attempt in over 20 years. Right now they're in MG organic soil with some mild Dr. Earth organic nutes. They are around 16 days old.

  2. plants look really healthy! they seem to be lovingb the MG!!

  3. Looks damn good man. im a MG basher and and i gatta say your plants look like there loving it.

  4. Thanks. They do look pretty good. Right now they are just under some CFl's but my MH/HPS system s/b here soon. I am just trying to leave them alone as much as possible. I do test pH, fertility and moisture in my soil, but for the most part, I'm trying to stay out of their way.:D

  5. Here they are at day 20-21. They've really grown a bit the last 5 days. So far they are pretty healthy. They got their 2nd rd of nutes this week. Still building up to full strength. Still waiting for my lights too. :(
BIG question: They have been under 18/6 light ever since they sprouted. Can a plant show it's sex this early? The oldest seems to be forming little "balls" and the middle child seems to have little white hairs at the base of a few nodes. Can they enter a flowering stage with the lights on a veg schedule? I am waiting to see if the "balls" grow bigger so I can get a pic. But the white hairs are unmistakable. Hope to have pics by tomorrow!

  6. plants can show their sex even on a 24/0 light schedule though it is very rare. its not uncommon for them to show sex on 18/6 and they often time will show sex before you go to your flowering schedule. balls are bad, its a boy sorry. as for the white hairs, congrats its a girl :)

  7. Hmm beutiful plants, you know what your doing : ) love the lights

  8. I suggest you get those plants in a lightproof box and at week 2-4 put them into 12-12 light cycle and then start a new bunch into veg while others are flowereing, most/ fastest bud possible.

  9. Why start to flower so fast? I am in no rush. I want them to be about 2' prior to flowering. I am hoping for 2 females. 1 to get buds now and the other for clones. I plan on allowing the male to pollinate (in a seperate controlled enviroment) for future seeds. Once I get a donor mom I can get into a rotation but I want to get it right.

  10. But can they begin to enter a flowering stage without 12/12 light? In other words, they have just shown sex but have not entered into flowering so the male will not pollenate and the female will not bud? I'd like to veg a while longer.

  11. Ohh I see, what are you wanting from this grow? What I said before was only if you are trying to get as much bud as you can in a short period of time, but thats a god idea to get seeds for future grow, jsut remember that seeded but wont be as potent. good luck

  12. Hmm if you have lights on 24/0 then after a while they may start to show some flower structures but if you are on 18/6 its not likely.

If you are looking to find the palnt's sex, I suggest you make a clone from each plant and after vegging for a while, put the clone in flowering cycle and whatever the clone is, the mother/ father plant is and so are al other clones from the same plant/ same clone.

  13. Sorry I jsut reread your last question and thought you were asking somethign else, no your plants will remain in veg until you switch over the lights.

  14. males can flower in whatever photoperiod

  15. So even though his balls are small, get him out already?

  16. Should a donor plant be of certain size? I understand the cloning concept, I just want to make sure the plant is the right minimum size.
As unbelievable as it seems, after just 3 weeks, 2 of my plants have surely shown their sex. I hope the 3rd one shows soon so I can set my plan in action. I only have one bagseed left and I wasn't planning on getting it started until May.

  17. I would jsut wait for the third to show since the first two have already shown. The time it would take for the clone to grow in veg then flower would be much longer than just waiting for this plant to show.

  18. Update...here are my 2 ladies into day 41 of 18/6 lighting. The larger of the 2 is only 11 hours older but much more mature. She's grown faster and showed sex earlier. Little sis is very strong and will most likely be a mom for a while.

  19. Your mom plant looks healthy.

May she produce thick juicy buds for your enjoyment

don't forget to take a cutting...

  20. Welcome back to the growing scene stevie. I am not a fan of MG but I know the organic line will grow them. Plants can not flower under 18/6 light however, your plant looks like it is flowering. Those buds are more than just preflowers which are what shows during the veg period. What kind of lights are they under and how big are those pots? Those mirrors you have up reflect LESS light than the flat white paint you know. Good luck on the clones.
