  2. Engine is hard to work on... they are kind of ugly.. tho I like ugly cars so I like it...

It's also very heavy and unless it twin turbo it's slow.....
But it is rwd and Japanese so I like it I say get it.

  3. As a Z fan I would never own a Z with an "X" at the end of it.
The 300zx is pretty ugly from the front IMO but beauty is in the eye of the beholder
As state above the bay is cramped
They are very slow straight line cars stock.
    Parts are moderately cheap
The car is riddled with reliability issues steming from the fuel system catching fire to the master cylinder giving out before 100k miles.
Do some research on some Z forums too see if it's the car for you.

  4. Do you have one in mind, are you looking at one or do you just think you want one?

  5. the z32 is one of the best sports cars ever made.  they banned the vg30dett in some race classes because it kicked too much ass and they thought it was unfair. definatley buy it if you can.

  6. car is far from ugly

  7. If its a ZX twin go for it.

  8. I have a bit of a history with this car, I've never personally owned one but my two very good friends have owned them and my cousin had one. They are a lot of work if you're planning to push it and this car is meant to be pushed. If you're looking for a daily driver or something to drive casually, I'd go with a 240 or a older one like a Datsun. My best friend drove his casually but he had many issues as did my cousin but the car wasn't top tier to begin with. If you're going to get one, get a nice clean one, it's worth saving for and holding out on.

My other friend has a beastly TT, in the 500-600 range and another friend has a NA pushing 400. It's a mean car that requires a lot of love and lot of know how, pass on it unless you're a true gear head or outright love the car.

I stick with my 240sx, perfect size and weight, outstanding engine potential; whether it be KA, SR, RB, LS, it can do it all but I love my 4cyl. Go with the 240sx, do eet.

One of the years I was at the 24hr Rolex it won it's class.

  9. If its manual and twin turbo go for it.

Smoke 2 joints then i smoke 2 more.

  10. Buy it, swap to rb26, solves the cramped engine bay if your handy with fabrication

  13. RB's cost more than a low miles 300ZX.

  14. They also sound 10 times better.

  15. Not worth paying a premium and waiting a week plus for a water pump, gaskets, etc because you can't get that engine in the USA soo you have to outsource to buy OEM.

  16. R32 chassis Skylines can now be imported into the US(at a premium) because they're old enough...

  17. Still a few more months to wait. Earliest production was September I think, but all parts will still be expensive to import and ship.

I didn't realise USA missed out on the Rb's.

Rb26's are cool but I prefer the Rb30et.

  19. America always missed out on the forced induction small displacement engines... but the dudes in Japan go equally nuts for our Corvette.

  20. Ew single cam! haha I rather have a rb26, a little newer and more rev happy :)
