1960's

Discussion in 'Seasoned Marijuana Users' started by Shablagoo, Nov 20, 2012.

  1. Recently I've been wondering a bit about the 60's and weed. How much did a gram cost back then? How did you buy from your dealer did you call or have a set meeting time? How many people were toking up?

  2. not many around from that age bubba. if i fingered it out right they'd be around 70?

  3. Not sure how you did that math.. but if they were born in '60, they would be 52 right now. lol.

Well they would have to be around 70 years old to have been toking in the 60's.

    2000-1960=40
    12+40=52.

But regardless, are you saying people don't live to be 70? I would have to disagree on the fact that my g-ma is 83.

Again!! I know people who are one fucking hundred years old. The first reply was dumb. Just someone trying to be mean.

  8. Oops thought about that wrong haha my bad. Yeah 70 would be about right then

It was just a mistake bro

yeah there are people still living who are 70 years or older. thats why i said there aren't many... the word to focus on i guess is many. sorry but wasn't trying to be offensive in any of this thread.

  10. Maybe they started smoking when they were 5? lol jk :p

  11. in the 60's I'm guessing maybe 5-10 dollars a gram but everything was mids back then

  12. we don't live in 2000 it's almost 2013

  13. He's just explaining his math. That's how I calculated it too. 2000-1960= 40 , we live in 2012 so 40 + 12= 52 :)

  15. what? lol, back then if you were 18 you had to be on the home property or real close by when the street lights came on.

  16. A gram?!?
An Oz was between $5.00 and $10.00 in the `60's.
    No one bought a gram!

And for everyone who're making wild guessess about how old we are, I was born in 1945 and I'm 67 years old

Ahaha! Thanks for the laugh. Read it again bud.

  18. I was kidding... lol. But yeah I believe it!

Either way it'd be sweet to talk to someone that smoked weed over 50 years ago. They experienced a lot in our nations history. That and just hearing about smoking culture back then from an actual person would be awesome :D

That's so sick were you using joints or pipes or bongs?

  20. Joints when I was out and about, but most of the people I smoked with had a pipe or a water pipe of some sort that they used at home.
