Hey guys im on my first grow here . i bought a clone from the dispensary 19 days ago , brought it straight home and put her in soil . i did a good bit of research before i bought the clone but i still have SO much to learn Anyways this is what im working with and this is a picture i just snapped today of the growth from day one ( 19 days) . She seems to be Lush green - even a tint of purple . im growing one female plant " Sweet Tooth " under One - 125 Feliz watt cfl dual spectrum and Two - 55 watt natural light cfls - closet grow . i try to watch temps and keep them between 75 - 90 . She seems to love the Heat more . \n- Roots Organics Original organic potting soil ( doesnt burn as easy as FFSoil ) - FoxFarm Trio Big Bloom, Grow Big, and Tiger Bloom Liquid Plant Food 3-pack - One - 125 Feliz watt cfl dual spectrum Grow Lamp - Two - 55 watt natural light cfls - Two 5 Gallon Buckets - One Digital Timer - small fan \n* im gonna add a 200 watt Feliz cfl grow bulb to the mix when she starts flowering in a few weeks .* \nim Hopeing for a few dank Ounces . \n\nis this good for 19 days ?

55 gal buckets? or 5.5 gal? 70-90 degree temps? that's a pretty big swing. stressful on the plants. you don't want your temps above 85 when in flowering.
Yes , A Five Gallon Bucket i have her in . Thank you for that info , i will watch it and try to keep it down below 85 while flowering . in your opinion is she about ready to flower? i mean i Fimmed her 14 days ago today so she isnt gonna get that tall ? Just fatter lol . When i bought her from the dispensary they said she was a week or so and her roots were about 3.5 inches long the day i bought her. ive had her almost 3 weeks now plus the week she was sitting at the dispensary is almost 4 . She doesn't look big enough to put into flower yet but what do i know its my first grow and she has been fimmed so that will shorten the growth from what i read , also it is a 85% indica so its gonna be short .
I would give her another 2 weeks of vegging before flipping to 12/12. I myself usually go for 6 weeks before the flip.
Sorry for the Late Update.....A lot has went on with my baby ( nothing bad) - I FIMMED her @4 Nodes when she was tiny , Bought a 1000 Watt HPS set / Red Flower Bulb last week - She is Now Day 20 of Flower ....i put her under a 1000 watt HPS Set-up a week ago . Being my first grow im not sure if 3 weeks of flower this is a good bud size or no?
Looks good for 3 weeks into flowering. They usually flower for 6-12 weeks depending on the strain. In a couple weeks it will boost with buds Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Thank you So much! this is my first grow . im lost everyday just trying to make the right decisions LOL. i read for a year before we moved to colorado about the basic's of growing but there is so much to learn So many strains and so many mediums . I try to leave her alone as much as possible , use basic Fox Farm Nutrients . ive been adding Unsulphered Molasses @ one teaspoon a week the past 2 weeks . everyday the small bud sights are lime green hinting at new growth everyday . Yes i have her pulled down in 3 separate spots because i read somewhere to try to keep her even to make more colas ? - and yes i think your right ...its called LST . ill edit that image to show you where the main branch was shooting up past the rest of the plant....so while she was watered really well one day a few weeks ago i jerked the main middle branch over and tied her lower than the rest of the plant with a bread tie . The Arrow in the picture is the main cola...It was bigger than all the others last week now ther are 5 or more small colas that have caught up ever since i LST'd her ...she seems to be evening out more now .
Don't worry about the bud size for now your only 3 weeks in. In the last couple weeks for flowering your buds will swell up and increase in size dramatically
she is 3 weeks 1 day Since 12 /12 .....i have since found out that you dont necessarily count " Days of flower from 12/12" so maybe she is a little less . i pulled her out for fresh pictures Today . a Quick Run Down on my first grow . May 27 - Bought Clone from dispensary ( at least a week old / roots were huge {Sweet Tooth - indica dominant - blueberry x grapefruit THC level 19.6% - 80% indica - Muscle relaxer pain killer} June 1 - FIMMED june 16 - first day of flower June 29 - Changed her over from 255 CFL closet grow To 1000 High Pressure Sodium room all to herself. Today July 7 - 3 weeks 1 day of 12/12OrFlower
Quick Update ..... She is now 24 days in from the start of 12/12 . Honestly , the past few days i have been busy and everything is on timer so i just try to make sure she is OK She is Starting to Smell a little also , if you get close enough to the buds . like sweet perfume and blueberry's .
28 days since 12/12 - Found out today she is not a real " Sweet tooth " Per say .....its actually a Blueberry X pink grapefruit . i found the slip that came with the clone from the dispensary , that explains why she smells like fruity pebbles
