Would a 150w hps plus a few 2700k CFLs on the sides be a good enough flowering setup for a personal grow of 2-3 plants? Its for personal use so I don't really care if the yield is the max I can get.....I'm just wondering if this setup will yield enough to grow my own stash. I generally go through about 3/4 of an ounce to an ounce a month between me and my wife. The 150w hps I was lookin at said it's 16,000 lumens and that seems to be pretty good from everything I've read on here for what I want. Also.....I'm assuming a 150w setup heat wouldn't be much of an issue? Would just like some input from you veterans.
youll be fine to get the most out of the light, keep the number of plants low, but do some LST and/or topping, to get the most possible growth tips close to the light, itll massively increase your yield
