Can SOmeone Tell me in General How Many Medium Sized Plants i Can get OUt of A 150 watt light setup? PLEASE... thanks
it depends on what you call medium.... I know someone who uses a 150w hps light in a small cab that measures i think 20" deep, 32" wide and 36" high and they normally do 2-3 femals easy and get a decent little yeild.
generaly the rule is 100 watts for a plant, so you could prob get 2 with a decent yield out of 150 watts
id say you could get more then 2 or 3 if you have a small area were you light is higher then the required amount lumens wise, I don't see why you cant pack a small spot with alot of single cola plants, I had 22 under two 70watt lights one hps and MH in small place, they were in 55oz soda cups from a cumberland farms, I found those cups to be best there the same size as the beer pong cups but allow more root growth so you can fully flower a plant a decent size in them, I bet with a good strain and good nutes and everythng perfect you could get close to 0.8gram per watt. i think soilless would be your best bet with that light have a small space packed with 1 1/2ft fully buded plants. Just dont go cfls unless you get ones 42 watts or better because they dont penate more then the cannopy unlike the hps. But like i was saying befor i did have 22 under the lights here's some pictures of the security lights i got from home depote for 50 each a few years ago, they do put out heat its be nice to make them aircooled drop the light to a ince away you'd have some massive thick buds. All in all for the 2 weeks i had them under the lights 24/7 with only 140watts and both spectrums i was amazed at the rapid growth, id say go for the sunsystem light, get the 4inch flange and get a inline duct fan to suck the hot air out of it, youll be very happy i bet, i want a 250watt digital cooltube
