ok well i just transplatnted the last of my pkants in biger pots so they are in their final homes and and put up the hps light. It is about 12 inches away, but with very good ventilation. Even with the good ventilation the light keeps the temp up to bout 78. I was wondering if i could start flowering after the first month of veg or not. My plants are very bushy and are about 5 inches after almost the 2nd week. Ill post pics soon. And also how far away should i keep the light?
Yeah you can turn them over at anytime you want. It will just affect the yield. As for how high to have your bulb. Put your hand palm down over the plants and if you can keep it there for 45sec to a min your ok. If your hand burns your girls will burn.So adjust til its ok. Remember to check often cause the plant will stretch into the light and burn.
