150 Watt Hps Home Made Hood

  1. but for some reason the ligth doesnt just go through the bulb and hit the reflector, cause the distance is farther away so it loses intensity.
     
  2. does give a more even spread of light tho.

    tho the light travels further, it aint by much. ur right it cud make a difrance if ur using very small lights placed close to the plants and ther mounted side by side, not a lot tho but a loss all the same.

    the best design iv seen had the lamps mounted at either end of the reflector both pointing inwards, it gave a good spread of light and the whole of the hanging reflector was well balanced and easy to hang.
     
  3. yeah, and you dont want the top of your reflector to be flat, make a little curved peice to go on the top inside the reflector to spread the light out more.

  4. Yo i have 2 plants in a 2ft by 2ft space and there a week into flowering almost and i have a 150watt HPS light on it and two CFL flowering lights....You think im set for a decent size harvest or??? Lemme know what yall think
