I'm in the middle of a CFL grow I'll post pics soon, but I will be switching to a 150 Watt HPS Growing Auto AK47. My Grow closet is 24"x39"x 8ft, is painted a bright white and Is finishing up my CFL Grow at the moment. I'll be using an organic medium My questions are: With the size of the closet and the 150 HPS: 1)How many plants should go under the 150 HPS? 2)At What height should I mount the 150 HPS? 3)How far away should the light be from the plants? and any other information about this set up would be appreciated. 150w hps= 2 plants tops...ten inches from top of canopy but it depends on how well your ventilation is use the hand guide for heat...your not the first person to use the 150 read others post it is the most valuable tool on these forums learn there tricks of the trade and don't repeat their mistakes....for the 250 your looking at about 4 girls tops...about 12-15 inches from canopy...what is your ventelation like and what are the current temps in the box and at canopy level? Look into scrog and lst training these two methods will get you the largest yield possible with these smaller lights....however vegetation is longer but well worth the wait!
