The Republican Party members who rejected McCarthy are part of a very small group of ultraconservatives. This is not something to be happy about, but some people do not understand this. Trump is not, nor ever was, extremely conservative and this is why he, and the majority of Republicans, supported the more moderate McCarthy, over those who are, among other things, extremely religious and seek to have a theocracy in America.
The problem is that very small group has been getting larger year over year. Now that small group has a lot of influence over the rest of us. It would have been best to nip it in the bud but unfortunately it is too late for that.
The Trump haters better get their act together and stop focusing on him, because if they think that he was bad, they haven't seen anything yet.

The fact that he is now finally acting on the border is because: 1. Nobody wants any more migrants, not even sanctuary cities. 2. The Republicans have taken over the House. If he had not been pressured, he would have continued to bring in more migrant slave-labor for the wealthy, at the taxpayer's expense. Where is Kamala?
