I don't think Micro Grows is the right place for this thread, because I doubt that you can fit 15 plants in a closet grow.

  3. I'm just gonna talk through my thoughts. Nothing's exact, everything here's variable, but this may get you started thinking in the right direction.

    15 plants...

You could go with 1 bonsai mum, clone her our every few weeks, maybe about 1 clone/wk (or 4/mo.).

So you'd have 14 plants in 14 weeks, after 6 weeks in veg, move to flower. Assuming an 8 wk. bloom cycle (on the quicker side) you'd have 1 plant move from veg to bloom every week, and 1 plant harvested every week, and 1 new clone to replace in veg.

So you'd need room for 6 in veg, and the other 8 in bloom, with your bonsai in veg as well.

6 plants in veg, grown without stress training or pruning wouldn't need a lot of light or space. You could grow them in 4"x4" pots up to 8" then transplant to 1' pots for bloom.
2 rows of 4 plants = 8"x16"x10" space. You could use CFLs to manage heat and space for the veg.

On the bloom side, 8 plants could use a 600w HPS and would be best at about 8 sq. ft. (@1 sq ft per plant) or 3 rows of 3 plants (1 empty slot for late bloomer maybe).

Veg would need roughly 8-10" of growth space, and depending on your strain's genetics, you'd need between 16"-30" of head room in bloom, +/- air space for heat control (if you're using a HPS or any HID).

You'd need a heat vent and possibly a cooling unit (AC or swamp cooler) depending on your climate and the "closet's" insulation, but heat buildup in micro-grows are common. Also you'll need an air scrubber for the exhaust, especially if you're venting the heat into the rest of your house.

Just some thoughts on the subject. Have a most excellent day. :smoke:

  4. Ask a mod to move this to another thread.. Doesn't sound like a micro grow at all so this isn't the place for you. Doubt you will get a lot of responses from here.. Goodluck though man

  5. Totally doable. I currently have 6 plants and 7 cuttings under my bathroom sink and 9 plants in a fairly small cardboard box under cfls in one of my closets. That's 15 plants. My goal is to eventually have 16 plants in flower.

The key is to keep the plants small. My plants live in 1-pint party cups. I don't give them more than a couple days of veg time. This helps to keep them small. To keep them from getting too tall low-stress training is usually necessary.

If you want larger plants, then the other posters are probably right, it won't exactly be a microgrow.

I think that, for the most part, you should do what you want, don't let other people tell you how to run your grow. Pay attention to the experienced growers, they typically know their stuff, but every grow is different, so don't be afraid to go your own way. It doesn't always work out how you planned, but if you want your grow to perfectly fit your needs, it'll take a little work, but in the end, it's totally worth it... I think... I'm not actually at the end yet, but I think I'm finally getting close, I'll let you know when I get there.

  6. Forgot to mention man.. The best piece of advice that anyone can give you.. When you post a question or have something that is bugging your grow.. DO NOT run out and do whatever the first person says.. Bump until you get a few responses or just wait for a few.. Trust me.. I've seen people destroy grows because they took bad advice and then wished they could go back.. Check around first.. Then correct the problem.. Happy growing man
