    im thinking from excess heat off the nail/torch.... going to avoid my nail altogether and get an extention

    This is too weird to believe.
    Not that i don't believe you, but i'm just really surprised.
    If you think it has to do with the nail then get a different nail, but if it was the heat that was an issue then the damage is already done.
