125w cfl

  1. Would a Energy bulb 25w (125w)cfl be ok just for my mother plant to sit under as i dont know if it we be enough juice for it ? Any help folks?:D

    • Consumption: 25 watts; Actual equivalent output: 125 watts
    • 6400 kelvin (almost pure daylight)
    • Even distribution light (360 degrees)
    • Excellent colour rendering for photography and craft/artwork.
    • Not siutable for dimming systems
    • Integral rapid start electronic circuit.
    • Also has qualities that are advantageous for S.A.D. sufferers.
    • Height=158mm
    • Diameter= 60mm
    • 1535 lumens
    • Colour rendering index is 80 at 6400k

  4. 25w is not enough.
     
  5. If it were a true 125w CFL it would work okay. I'm going to try somthing different with my mother plants. Instead of having light come from above, I'm going to surround them with flourecents to make them grow outward more.

  7. How much light ,watts, or lumes is neeeded for just one plant is in a space of 2'x2' surrounded with black and white the plastic sheeting.

  8. A 125 would do it.
     
  9. my head was wreacked with all the lumes per wattage x hight x width stuff.


    maybe it was the weed that done it :smoking:

  10. 100W is a safe bet for one plant. 4-5 23W or 26W CFLs would be good.
