will i get away with starting some seeds with a 400w hps cooltube.. spent all my cash now and cant afford to buy a smaller light..
keep it 2' away from plants until true leaves appear, then gradually reduce to 1' height... shoulnt be no problem. I would not ever do 12/12 from seed though, waste of time. Veg em to a few weeks size then flower...
cheers for the reply.. hmmm might veg, like to keep em small and do a couple mixed strains.. anywhos i have another problem lol.. set up my cf and fan as follows cf>fan>ductin>cooltube>ducting>loft the problem is.. the temps have only dropped a couple degrees (30c) my space is 80cm 70cm 10ft high, i have 3x 3" passive intake holes on the bottom of my grow cupbored door.. really thought the cf.fan would bring the temps down more than that...
