Hi Has anyone made any experiences with different possibilities of lighting ? I know in flowering the standard is 12/12 but has anone ever tried 16 hours light then 12 dark.. etc.. Does the flowering depend on the 12 hours dark or the day only being 12 hours or is it the mix of both.. cause if its only the dark then 16/12 would in theory do better.. and if its only the day needing to be 12 hours then why not 12/8 and again 12/8 etc... ? Any experiences in this field ? Thanks
your theory is wrong, its the darkness that makes it flower it would have to put more hours of dark than light
I know its the darknes that causes them to flower but is it not the light / photosynthesis tht creates the actuall growth ? therefore the 12 hours being the trigger to start hormonal change to flowering but the light still be the energy source for growth theefore 12 h dark triggering blooming but still giving it 16 hours of light for more growth ? or are you actually saying that the darknes itself produces growth? hmm never heard of that.. I got no clue myself am just asking if anyone has made experiences cause it would make sense to me that 16/12 would give more energy and therefore more growth ?
using 16 hours of light would most likely turn it back to the vegitive stage or confuse the hell out of it and stress it out bad .stick to 12 / 12 .
