I am planning on growing 1 plant for my first grow, but Im not sure which CFL to use after the plant sprouts out of the soil. I currently could put in some of the normal household CFL, which i believe say 14Watts Or should i just go to the store and buy the 100W CFL? or 2 maybe? Thanks.
you need 100 actual watts(not replacement value) for one plant minimum... but till the third set of leaves are out you only need 15 actual watts... so do both... first get the 15 watt bulb.. then add the 100 watt bulb(or a mix match of 100 watts)... this way you will have a better grow remember i said minimum
Okay thanks, and should I try to have lights on top and sides of my plant? Also about 3" away ? Or would it be easier to get a light reflector
