Hey all, i know my 1000w hps system is going to put off some heat, how much heat does the ballast put off compared to the light itself? Because the ballast has a 20ft cord and I can keep it outside of the closet. Will this make much of a difference?
Digital or magnetic? My digital has a built in fan and I only noticed a difference of about one or two degrees when I removed it from my small grow box. I know magnetic put off a lot of heat though.
