Ok so I just bought another 1000w ballast and bulb (powertrip ballast digilux bulb) I am currently running the cap xxxtreme 6" hood and I have an extra standard sized cap hood... I was just going to run the new 1000w on the standard hood Is this a bad idea? I'm growing six 5'6" plants under each 1000w light and currently it seems like the xxxtreme hood is just the right size (like a standard one wouldn't create a large enough footprint) Will the standard work just fine? Worse? I don't mind buying a xxxtreme hood if it's going to be worth it... Thanks for your input!
