These ladies are from an unknown strain 2 are the same 1 is different strain. The third one is the odd girl out.

These are from Day 2 of flowering (24 vegging days under a mix of MH and HPS). I had them under a 400w MH, to acclimate them, for 14 days then switched to a 1000w HPS with an air-cooled hood. The canopies are like 20"x21", with two plants in each bucket.

I use the lucas method of resevoir management.

Scrogging is the way to go for killer yields, for sure. This is my first grow. You shouldve seen the clones i started with. check out the first page of the diary in the link above.

Some hard work. man. But the rewards are soooooooooo worth it!

Good question. I cut two squares out of the top of the buckets to access the root zones. This is where I disconnect the tubing from the water pump to a hose. I use the pump to suck out all the water, and what's left of the nutes.

Then I mix a new 10gal batch of nutes and h2o and additives. I then remove the pump from the resevoir and place it in the new bucket to pump the water into the empty resevoir (the one with the plants).

Easy as pie. After the harvest. I clean and disinfect the buckets and start all over.

Also, I have the3 buckets set on wheeled-carts. I can roll them out to trim and train and add back water to the resevoir, and anything else I would need to do to them.

Transport, if in an emergency.

 

Sorry it took me a while to get back. I cover the holes to block the light. I also cover the sides with black trash bags to avois ANY light from getting iside the buckets. The lid if flexible enought to pull open the corner to access the tubs as well. Also, I use perioxide as an additive. it keeps away algae really well. I clean out he buckets after each crop. It's a very clean envirinment there.

If i Do get algae, I drain the rez. Pull hte bucket out from under neath. Clean it and replace it. Refill and I'm on to the next....

nice. Uh I mean. Sorry? lol check this out. My first attempt at bubble hash, made from veg leaf. The clones were like 60 days old when i got them. so there should be some trichome development, somewhere:

This is from 150 grams of frozen, fresh leaf. about 14 pounds of ice, in a 5 gal bucket, and ice cold water. I mix with a wooded spoon for 15 minutes and there you have it. Bubble hash, courtesy of Bubbleman and his bags:

oh yeah. I picked up these buckets, the last time i was in the US for 99cents. i bought like 8. more pic in another post to follow.

It wont be as potent as trim leaf, but there are trichs present. First attempt at fan hash. SO we'll see together.
