Wassup guys, just a quick question. I have a 1000w hortilux dual arc that I planned to use in my 5x5 veg tent before moving the plants into an 8x4 flower room with 3x 600w hps lights. Is the 1000w overkill for the veg room? I guess I am still uncertain as to how many watts I would want in my veg compared to my flower. Would I be better served to take the 1000w dual arc and put it into the flower room and instead use maybe a 600w MH for veg? Plan to have around 18 plants vegging and hopefully 18 flowering depending on how the spacing works out. Thanks for any advice muchachos. I use 500-750 dimmable 1000w in veg with a digilux bulb and they seem to love it just keep temps below 78 and you should be fine if you notice leaf tips turning yellow could be light bleaching
Never really too much light, only too much heat. Control the heat and your plants will thrive. No I know 1,000w isn't too much for veg. J
