This is the first grow that I've used a digital ballast. I've never had a problem with magnetics starting up but since I upgraded to a Phantom 1000w ballast I keep getting errors at startup. I'm certain its the timer not making a clean switch. If I turn the timer by hand it will start up with no error at switch. I've been using a Hydrofarm TM01015D and tried another I got at home depot with the same result. For those who are running a single 1000w digital ballast, I ask which timer are you using?
